LET THE HOLIDAYS BEGIN!!!

 

Things are going great. The weather is getting colder but of course there is no sign of snow. However, some of the Christmas decorations here are really insane. As more people get them up, I will get pictures of them. Pecan Grove is known for having some of the best decorated houses for Christmas.

Spiritual high this week. I went on 2 exchanges this week. The first was with one of our AP’s Elder Dewsnup and the other with Elder Woolstenhulme. While with Elder Dewsnup we visited a friend who Elder Stober and I were trying to get in contact with. He was there and we were able to have a lesson with him on the spot. He was super into it. Then while with Elder Woolstenhulme we had another lesson this time with a member participating. We were able to answer questions he had and help him feel the spirit. We invited him to church and he said he really wants to come. Unfortunately he had to go to Dallas for work on short notice Sunday morning but he still can come next week.

Our big low this week is that a family we were teaching dropped us after reading something in the Book of Mormon that went against their belief. We left it on good terms though and maybe, hopefully we can talk with them and sort out their concerns but for now they are dropped. Super sad.

DOCTRINE OF CHRIST!!!!!

We are now in 3 Nephi!! Page 416. Jesus Christ is born and is in his ministry in Jerusalem and the Nephites are repenting and going through things. Christ will be coming to visit them soon. Its crazy how fast you go through a book when you just read at least 8 pages a day.

Nothing else really is going on except CHRISTMAS CONFERENCE which is happening on Wednesday. Super excited for this. We did get to go watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional with the Jensen family. That's where I got those pictures from.
